You can't out train a bad diet........
The food you eat is the most important part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We need to find the right balance of essential food groups and make sure we eat them at the right time. If you have completed an all over body, high intensity workout for example, then your muscles glycogen levels will be depleted. At this point it is best to consume some form of fast absorbing carbohydrate. This is an example of correctly timing your nutrition as at no other point in the day would they be advised.
Here at DCPT we take nutrition very seriously. We will ask you to complete a 3 day food diary upon initial consultation where you will record everything consumed within that time frame. From there we will prescribe a detailed nutrition plan outlining the foods you are to eat and the correct time to do so.
Many people go through their lives yo-yo dieting and getting frustrated when they don't work. We have a great success rate from people who have stuck to an easy to follow diet, and reaped the rewards at the end. You DO NOT need to add up points, buy only a certain type of 'low fat' food or consume nothing but juice to lose weight!
A balanced nutritious diet will be beneficial in the long run.
We have now teamed up with a nutritionist to bring you specific diet plans, based around your likes/dislikes, any allergies you may have and your fitness goals. Nutrition plans are priced at £40.00 as a one off fee. They will include all meal plans with details of how to make the meals and helpful little tips along the way. Don't forget any DC Personal Training client receives constant guidance and motivation throughout, so any queries you may have, fire them over!
